Student Internships

We invite applications for internships (1 to 6 months) from students pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate studies in any discipline, provided they demonstrate a strong passion for education. Final-year B.Des and M.Des students are welcome to undertake their graduation projects (GP) with us. Interns may work on their own projects or contribute to ongoing work at the D&T Lab. For longer-duration internships, we expect projects to be of mutual interest and developed in consultation with the lab team. Selection is primarily based on a personal interview, with a focus on alignment with our work and vision. Final acceptance also depends on the availability of accommodation at the Centre. Internship slots are typically available during April to August and October to December. We receive many applications, so we strongly encourage interested candidates to get in touch well in advance of their preferred internship period. For example, contact us by February for the April to August slot, and by July for the October to December slot.
Examples of past projects can be viewed here: Designovate, Trace the Waste, Tree Cards, FunDHAN, Full Tank etc.

What is expected in the internship application?

Please note that we work exclusively in the space of education. You are also required to share any project ideas that you wish to undertake during the internship.
